I am looking for George Augustus Henry Waddington, (or George Henry Augustus Waddington), born in England, possibly in London, around 1776, son of George Waddington and Elizabeth (don't know her maiden name). He was a British officer in the Peninsular Wars in Portugal and Spain from 1808 to 1814. He married a Portuguese girl, and their child's birth certificate says that George Waddington was born in London. However, the few Georges whom I have found that had as father another George, were not born in London. Would appreciate any help you can give me. I am his direct descendant. I saw on this site a CD-ROM World Family Tree Volume 1, Tree 5561, that mentions a George Augusta Waddington. If anybody has that CD-ROM, maybe you could let me know if my ancestor is in it. Thanks!
