You may be interested that Joseph Swan Waddy was the Mayor of Wexford in Co Wexford Ireland in 1865 and again in 1868. A relative, Rev John Elgee was Mayor in 1802! His descendant was the mother of Oscar Wilde ! Earlier connections, Cadwallader Edwards, were Mayors in 1721-2, 1758 and in 1779. Good hunting ,
