I just received probate records for Jeremiah Walker who died intestate in Gasconade Co., Mo before April 21 1837. These records confirm that he had sons named Westly and Gillum. The names of heirs, age and residence were listed. Heirs: Westly Walker, age 41, residence not known Gillum Walker, age 38, residence not known Poly Cox, age 35, Gasconade County, Mo Saly Blevin, 32, Illinois last record of residence Wm Walker, age 26 Francis Boulware, 22, Gasconade Co., Mo Betsy Boulware, age 20, Gasconade Co. George Boulware and Thomas Cox were administrators of the estate. No mention of a wife. I am positive this is the Jeremiah Walker who left Wayne Co., KY about 1820. Son of Jesse Walker and Elizabeth Granderson. This is a major find for me as it confirms my early beliefs that West and Gillum (both married in Wayne Co., KY) were his sons. West Walker married Sally Denny, Talita Tefetiller and Sally Marsh. Gillum Walker married first Sally Walker, daughter of Jesse Jr and Rachel Walker. I don't know what happened to her, but later Gilliam (Harrison) Walker married Rodah Findley in Howard Co., Mo and was in Marion Co., Oregon by about 1853. I'm still digesting the material for any other useful information. Ruth Notify Administrator about this message?
