Ruth, this is a great find. It makes me realize that Lucinda Walker b abt 1803 Franklin Co., GA m 24 Oct 1819 Abraham Lovell/Loveall was not the dau of Jeremiah. She is then the daughter of Jeremiah's brother Jesse who m Rachel. Abraham witnessed license for Jesse & Rachel's daughter Elizabeth's marriage to Isaac Worley, which would probably indicate a very close relationship. Elizabeth would have been Lucinda's sister. In studying the census for Jesse, he had another daughter in 1810 that would have been Lucinda's sister, after all. I believe that Jesse, RS, father of Jeremiah married Frances (?West) and had William, Jeremiah, & Rev West. The other siblings were by Elizabeth Granderson The name West or Wesley did not appear in children by Jesse, RS, and Elizabeth Granderson. The name "West" did not appear in Capt. George's family until later. The fact that Jeremiah names his oldest son West further connects that there was a West ancestor. Bro of Jeremiah, Rev. West Walker & Susanna Owenby's daughter Nancy Walker Riley, and also their son John Owenby Walker, moved to OR/CA with that family group. Nancy's two sons were Baptist preachers. Tried to figure out the West connections but have not. I suspect the large West family nearby the Walker's in NC connected to Jesse RS & Frances, but do not know. Keep up the good work.
