Ray. Thanks for the response. In re: Lucinda Walker married to Abraham Lovell, I have also revisited my thoughts on this and am leaning toward William Walker (oldest son of Jesse Sr.) being the father of Lucinda.

The 1810 census of Wayne Co. has a Wm. Worker (or Warker) listed on page 1. I believe he is William Walker. William never lived close (at least census-wise) to the other Walkers but he was identified through a Bible record as Jesse's son.

There are several Lovealls on the same page with William in 1810, but are living in Pulaski Co. in 1820. My Thompson line (also in Wayne) seemed to go back and forth between Wayne and Pulaski.

The daughter of Jesse/Rachel you show as 1810 (or 1811), I believe to be Polly Walker married to Benjamin Hubbard. June Bork's book lists marriage:
"HUBBARD, Benjamin and Polly Walker. Surety, Marcus Walker. Bond dated 22 November 1831,Minister return missing."

Marcus Walker was a brother next in age to Polly.

There are a couple of things I wanted to check with you. You show Jesse as married to a Frances (West?). Do you have any documentation or other source to confirm Jesse's earlier marriages.

Also, in one of your other postings, you show Jeremiah's wife as Caty Street. I have Caty, but not the last name. Is there anywhere you can point me on Caty's last name. Your posting is the only one that I have seen that gives her last name and I would like to check that out, also.

By the way, looking through the probate records, Tarleton Blevins signed a receipt for "his share" of the estate of Jeremiah so that gives us Sally's (Sarah) husband's name. They were in Clinton Co. Illinos in 1830; Macoupin Co. Ill. in 1840 and 1850. Sarah is shown in 1850 census as age 46, born in Georgia.

Keep up the good work. Ruth
