Robert S. Walker and Samuel Walker connection

Are ther still researchers out there looking to go further back on Robert S. Walker of Blount County Alabama, father of John Adam Edgar Walker?

According to State of Alabama land records, Robert Walker of Blount County purchased land on the very same day as Samuel Walker of South Carolina son of Samuel Walker, Sr. They purchased the land 24 Apr 1820. I know that Samuel is listed in a different group in the DNA results but then someone else was noting how people he was tracing were placed in different groups evidently due to a different mother?? I am not sure how the DNA results work but knowing that Mother told me her dad's family were from Ireland, and that was before the DNA forum, I would like to communicate with others who are researching this lineage to discuss some possible ways of breaking through the barrier.
