Ruth, would be interested in why you would choose William as the father of Lucinda. Some time ago, I had decided that perhaps Jeremiah and his cousin Jesse Walker both had a daughter named Lucinda, when they were in GA; Lucinda's birth in 1803. As a result of the recent info on Jeremiah estate, and your putting the names with three of the unnamed children, confirmed to me that Lucinda was not Jeremiah's child.

There are several reasons that I now connect Lucinda to Jesse, son of Jesse, RS, but primarily because the census records fit, or else Jesse has an unknown child.

I not sure that I understand fully what you were asking, but it has been known for many years that Jesse was also married to a Fanny or Frances. William, the oldest son of Jesse RS & Frances, named his only known daughter "Fanny." (You apprear to know more about William son of Jesse, RS, than I developed)

William's brother Jeremiah, named a daughter "Frances," and his oldest son, "West." Finally, Jesse, RS, named his third child, (Rev.) "West." The "?" is to illustrate that I have no proof but just believe that Jesse, RS, married Frances,a West. I have tried to go through the West neighbors in NC, but was unable to further prove the connection, other than by names used. Can't add anything further.

Jesse, RS m Frances about 1771 in NC. John West father of Thomas, whose dau Delilah West b abt. 1774 m abt. 1790 Capt. George's son Jesse Walker. I could not find out more about John West's family, but I suspect that there is a connection. Capt. George's brother Jesse, RS b 1748, was about 22 when he married Frances ?West.

I had no trouble believing that the other five known children of Jesse, RS, was by his wife Elizabeth Granderson.

Keep in touch. Ray
