Lucinda was Alec's first wife and she died when their second child was only about 9 days old. I'm descended through him by his second wife, Emma Lee Landrum. I just can't seem to find any of the family, though. Alec and Lucinda's children are Dewey Day Toombs and Beulah Lee Toombs; Alec and Emma's children are Effie, Ballard Buel, Lillian Matilda, and Lola. Beulah married a Pollard and they lived in Piggott, Arkansas. Effie went out to California, changed her name to Helen, married a Cummings and had at least one child, Hoyt Eugene. Lillian is my grandmother; she married first Albert Clinton Hills (my grandfather) and second Tilghman William Lea. I'm really trying to find out any info I can on Alec's family, parents, siblings, etc.; I think he had some brothers named Burt, Robert(Bob), Clum, and maybe Joe. Does anyone out there know anything?
