Franklin Adberry PIERCE was born 10 Dec 1878 in Moundsville, WV, the son of Samuel and Mary (TAGG) PIERCE. He married Florence M WALLACE, 1903, in Moundsville, WV, daughter of Robert M and Sarah (HOFF) WALLACE. Florence was born 18 Sept 1880, probably in Belmont County, Ohio, and she was my grandmother's first cousin. As far as I can discover, Franklin and Florence had no children.
In 1918 they lived in Weirton WV. In 1930 they lived in Milwaukee, Wisc., where he was the superintendent of a machinery company. Franklin died in Canton, Ohio, in 1940. His death certificate says that he was an industrial engineer who worked for Republic Steel.
In 1960 Florence's siblings organized a Wallace reunion in Weirton WV. The newspaper notice about it named "Mrs. Frank Pierce," living in Canton, Ohio, but that is the latest document that I can find about her. Does anyone know when or where she died?
