i read with interest on the Descendants of John Doss website, an entry from comeadows@email.msn.com
concerning Milton Doss who married Mary Elizabeth Warford in Lincoln Co., KY. She was the daughter of Robert Woffard & Frances Blake. this site lists her death as feb 8, 1860 and her burial in the Benedict Cemetery in Milledgeville, KY. Have been to this cemetery several times and she has no readable marker. there are several unreadable ones and of course many with no marker at all.
I have in my data of Benedicts:
Amarilla Benedict who married John Warford in Lincoln County on Dec 13, 1837. This may explain why Mary Elizabeth would have been buried in the Benedict Cemetery.
I would be interested in verifying this info, but comeadows' email address is now invalid. can you verify?
do you have any info on amarilla & John Warford and their whereabouts after 1837?
