Hi Cindy,
Sorry, I still don't know much about John WOFFORD and his wife, Amarilla Benedict. It appears her brother Wesley E. Benedict was still in Lincoln Co., KY on the 1840 census, but where's John & Amarilla? The many different ways scribes wrote WOFFORD, WARFORD, ect., makes it difficult to search on-line for them, as you know, I'm sure.
You will notice on my updated tree (below) that I had a different DOD for Mary Elizabeth Wofford Dosss (who was my ancestor). I did not have the information about the Benedict cemetery. Can you post the link to the John Doss site you saw?
There may be errors here - so anyone copying this data - please verify the information, if possible, with your own research.
