I am looking for more information about a James Warren. My great-great Grandmother was Lilian M Warren, born 1884 in the West Country, possibly Chard in Somerset.
James was younger by possibly 5-10 years.
The pair were orphaned and lived with a Mrs Mameby (or similar derivation) in Gloucestershire (probably South Glos). Lilian was eventually put into service at the Boar's Head pub in Aust, South Glos but never saw James again.
Lilian eventually married Albert Clutterbuck (b. 1887 Bristol) and settled in Bristol.
If anyone could shed any light on what happened to James I would be very grateful.
