Add this one too Cyrus Warren comes to Lawrence County from Ohio. We know this because his oldest daughter was born there in 1846. Smith Warren marries Elizabeth Hottel in 1847 and starts a family. In 1850 Smith Warren tells the census annotator that he was born in Ohio. I think that the annotator said, "Where'd ya come from?" and Smith answered "Ohio" because that where he had been. He corrects this mistake in the 1860 census to say Virginia. Which is where Cyrus says he was born. I've been chasing the Warrens who came to Missouri from Virginia via North Carolina and Kentucky when I should have been looking at the northern route from Virginia via Ohio. BTW - I talked one of my Warren cousins into submitting his DNA to the Warren Family Project. We found a match in Ontario, Canada and one in South Carolina. 94139 Smith Warren,b. 1815 Virginia, d. 1867 in Missouri R1b1 13 23 14 11 11 14 12 12 12 14 13 30 17 9 10 11 11 25 15 18 32 15 15 16 16 11 11 19 22 16 14 18 17 38 38 12 12 11 10 15 16 8 10 10 8 10 10 12 23 23 16 11 12 12 15 8 12 22 20 14 12 11 13 11 11 13 12 Norma Notify Administrator about this message?
