Hi Kaye,

This is not my family but thought I would try to help you in your search.

Your family has its roots in Randolph county, Indiana & Darke county, Ohio. Circa 1830, a James Warren from North Carolina arrived in Randolph county with his sons. His son Dauphen is your ancestor.

I am sure that this family was probably written up in "The History of Randolph county, Indiana". So I would recommend tracking it down.

I am sending a report and what census returns that I found at Heritage Quest to your e-mail address as attachments.

Also be advised that Frank Warren's obit has been indexed by Auglaize Co. Pub. Dist. Library - Wapakoneta, OH so you can get a copy from them.
