I am searching for a Gillie Hunter who was married to a Mr. Washington. By 1877 he was dead recently. She may have lived in Tenn or NC or SC. They are connected to Ephraim Hunter and Sarah Crocker family of Anson Co., NC. My gg aunt mentions them in a letter to nephew in Ar.who was my g uncle and son of my ggrandfather Harry A. Hunter b. 1813. Who had died in 1877.
