my name is Cassandra Washington, my father and grandfather name is George Washington a Black Family. I know that my father wsa born in Vernon, Texas in 1926, his mother name was Marie or Mary Smith. He had Uncles name William Smith, the sometimes called him :Uncle Son" There was a uncle who died in WW1 and his name was Herny CAldwell how lived in Logview, Texas. hope this will help contact me with someone in my family.
