Hello:
Descendent (Boston) of Elizabeth McLaughlin Wheeler married Boston early 1900's to the handsome Marion Wheeler, 2 children, my mother (Boston, NH)Annabel Wheeler Noyes and my Uncle George E. Wheeler (deceased Boston, NH). Marion Wheeler I believe if family stories are correct, was a very handsome older man, my grandmother Boston Irish Catholic and young, naiive, he divorced her soon after the 2 children were born and moved permanently to start a new life in NYC. He was a relative through my mother's side of Ethel Nichol Ketner of Kansas City, he lived with Aunt Ethel and Uncle Jimmy (James Ketner who facilitated the construction of the first US mall of its kind, the Kansas City Plaza along with his "boss" and good friend financier JC Nichols)when HE was a child, as did my mother Annabel and both had strong reactions to Ethel who was childless...Marion I believe, had other children in NY and was no doubt successful, he never allowed much visiting with his first family to the complete disappointment of my poor young adoring mother Annabel and stopped seeing any of us in Boston when she was around 17 or 18, we have never had any contact with any of the Wheelers but the Ketners through Ethel who is deceased, may have. The Ketners were wealthy needless to say and Ethel's family orig. was from Virginia, her father was also well off and a Nichol not Nichols, I visited the estate they built on the Country Club Golf course in 2006 which was Uncle Jimmy's 2nd home, my mother Annabel lived in that one and the first built in the 1920's when she went to school at Notre Dame St. Souer or something to that effect. Any info on the Wheeler offspring of Marion Wheeler thus related through Ethel N Ketner would be appreciated...Pam
