I'm descended along the same line, and I have a little info. Hulda was the daughter of Ferby Cannon and James McElewee, and I have a little information about James and his father. James fought in the Rev. War, and I believe he was present for signing of the Declaration at Charleston. From the best I can tell, James, his father (John) and his wife Ferby all immigrated here from Scotland via Ireland.

I think I have some info on Elizabeth Ann Wheeler Nunley, too, and I know that I have a picture of her daughter Mary Nunley Richmond (my great great grandmother).

Feel free to e-mail me if you'd like to share information off the forum.
