Is anyone researching John and Charlotte (Jack and Lottie) WHEELER of Longtown, Cumberland, England? The information I have is as follows:

Jack was a fish merchant, and a lay preacher. Their children: Ellen (Nellie) b. abt. 1900; Maxwell (Max) b. abt 1902; Maud b. 1910.

Jack was born abt. 1871 in Deptford, Kent, England (now part of London). His parents were John WHEELER (b. June 9, 1841) and Charlotte MORRISON (b. March 10, 1844).

Jack became an assistant fishmonger in Islington, London (1901 census index)and later lived in Longtown, Cumberland, England (near the Scotland border). My mother recalled visiting Uncle Jack and Aunt Lottie around 1916.

She believed Max (who was blind) married Mary BELL(?) and that Nell married a bus driver named Len Dards PAINTER.

Any descendants, please contact me at e-mail address above.
