CD Pugh - Good Evening.
The purpose of this e-mail is to respond to your recent inquiries on the Pugh and Wheeler GenForums.
We are cousins - Forrest Chester Pugh’s sister Laura Pugh was my grandmother.
G-Grandmother's Name: Your g-grandmother's maiden name was Alta Beryl Heddleston. (Not sure where you got Wheeler name from). This is per her death certificate (which I obtained from Ohio Historical Society), she was born 06/07/1905 and died 07/17/1935. Forrest was born 09/22/1895 and died 08/20/1940. She and Forrest were married in Sistersville, Ohio on August 31, 1921. They are buried at Grandview Cemetery, in Grandview Twp., Washington County, Ohio. I photographed their grave site on 07/19/05.
Forrest and Alta's four children were:
Chester Vernon Pugh (03/04/1922 - 09/09/1990)
Hilma Imogene Pugh (Andrews) - Living
Cloyd Gilbert Pugh (05/17/1924 - 5/23/1968) – WWII U.S.N.
Clarence Dean Pugh (07/11/1927 - 12/12/1991)
