My Gr. Gr. Grandfather Albion S. Dudley b. Aug 6, 1816 and d. July 12, 1882 in MA had 3 wives. The last 2 had children and are accounted for. He married his second wife in Norridgewock ME in 1839. I cannot find anything about Caroline Whipple, only that she was his first wife. The other 2 wives are buried with him and they were sisters. Albion was born in Kingfield, ME and relocated in his adult life to Danvers, MA in the area of his ancestor, Gov. Thomas Dudley. I looked for Caroline Whipple in the Massachusess Vital Records but got nothing. Perhaps ME? Anyone know of her and her relationship to my gr gr grandfather? Perhaps Caroline Whipple was from Maine in the area of Kingfield, Mt. Vernon and Norridgewock?
