Hi, my name is Jim Gillbanks and I wonder if sometime in the past one of our ancesters changed the first letter of the name, the reason I am asking is because both our Family Crests are similar-see the Gillbanks one on my site http://www.jimgillbanks.co.uk -apart from the shape of the shield they are identical.
