I am descended from Shadrack and Abram Wilbanks. My sister-in-law recently came across some records in a folder in the Dallas, Tx Library concerning a Calvin and Sarah Wilbanks.
I do not have them in my genealogy and would like to know who they were. The documents are as follows:
A Bill introduced to Congress for the amount of three hundred dollars, for loss of property sustained by Sarah Elizabeth Wilbanks at the hands of the Comanche Indians, on or about Aug 1867.
Also a deed of trust for some land to Calvin and S.E. Wilbanks on FEb 14, 1889. I believe that there are other records to be had at the library. Wonder if there is anyone out there to tell me who they were? If anyone would like these records, I would be glad to send them.
