I am attempting to find information for a friend's family & would appreciate any information. Her ancestor, John Wilbanks (or Willbanks) was born Oct 1860 in South Carolina. According to family stories, he was an orphan who was left at an orphanage at birth. He was given the surname of Wilbanks/Willbanks. He married Queen Victoria ? (born Dec 1863 GA) & they were in Rabun Co,Tiger District, GA in 1880 & 1900 census; then in 1910, 1920 & 1930 census they were in Oconee Co, South Carolina, Seneca township. Their children were Tabitha, Gus, John Wesley, Nancy, Luray? May, William, Willard Corbin, Barnie, Carl H., Viola & Daisy. Willard Corbin attended Clemson & it's possible his father worked at Clemson at time of 1920 census. Any information will be appreciated. Thank you.
