I also have been looking for info on Charles Franklin Wilkinson, father of Kelvin, for whom I'm researching. Kelvin also mentioned an "Uncle Ben" whom I have found in censesus 1860 through 1920. Charles Franklin, I have found in censesus 1900 through 1930; not counting the 1880 where he is found (?) with L.J. Wilkinson (as you also mention). Where did you find info on L.J. Wilkinson's parents and aunt?
I'm very interested in corresponding with you on these families. My husband is related to Charles Franklin's wife, Elsie Millie Shook.
