Sylvester and Elzabeth Williams were in Linden, Perry Co.,TN., during the 1870's with their family: Edward, John Solomon, Sylvester, Susan P., and were in Marshall Co., during the 1860's....members of ths family moved to Missouri, Texas,and other states as the children grew up and married.....John Marion Williams the second son moved to Texas and lived his final years in Eastland and Comanche Counties of Texas..John Marion is said to have lived to the age of 102, but the census records do not support this tradition....when he died he was burried in the Barbee Cemetery, in Dublin, Tx. 1955 next to his daughter Mary Vonnie Jaynes (Salyer)...and her late husband John Wesley (Bud) Salyer
