I believe this family is listed in the 1870 Ashe County, NC Census, the 1880 Grayson County, VA Census (including Mary J), the 1900 Pulaski County, VA Census, and the 1910 and 1920 Roanoke, VA Censuses. Eli Austin is in the 1880 Ashe County Census as a "servant" in the household of Wiley Pasley, then, married, in the 1900 Alleghany County, NC Census, the 1910 Pulaski County Census, and the 1920 and 1930 Roanoke, VA Censuses.
