This is my last hope of finding my 3 great grandfather-why can't I find the source of his parents and or siblings ? I have tried everywhere possible. He was born about 1734,possibly Virginia,Fairfax Co perhaps. He was Married 1764 in Prince William Co Va. to Mary Elizabeth Stone, daughter of Josiah Stone, who was the immigrant from England. her mother's maiden name is unknown to me.
William M. Wms, in 1785 left Va. for Madison Co Ky. when Ky was a new state. he and his children lived on Tates Creek,near Richmond,Ky. His wife, Mary Eliz, is not mentioned in records, so believe she either died in Va. or on the way to Ky. He died 1824 in Madison Co,Ky. They had 3 children:
John b abt 1765;William b 1770(he was a Col.in the War of 1812.) and Mary Wms Walker.
Has anyone ever run into any of these people in their Wms search? Desparately need help here. Thanks in advance
