Adrian Daily Telegram, Monday, April 1, 2008, pg 2A Robert Dennis Wolf Obit TECUMSEH — Robert Dennis Wolf, 82, of Tecumseh passed away on Monday, March 31, 2008, with his wife at his side. He was born in Hudson, Mich., Dec. 3, 1925, son of Lester and Birdie (Day) Wolf. Robert married Elizabeth Marie Procknow on Aug. 22, 1947, in Blissfield, Mich. Robert is survived by his wife and their five children, Ellen (Charles) Cartwright, Betsy Yagiela, Robin (Len) Yoder, Todd (Cristina) Wolf and Amy (Federico) Galliani. Eight adoring grandchildren also survive, Andrew Yagiela, Emily Yagiela, Sarah Yoder, Rachel Yoder, Paul Michael Wolf, Laura Steinle, Angela Galliani and Jacquelyn Galliani. Robert is also survived by four brothers, Dr. William Wolf, Lester Wolf, Jack Wolf and David Wolf, along with four sisters, Mary Lohr, Nellie Sternitzke, Wanda Reece and Jane Diamond. He was preceded in death a sister, Helen Waterbrook. For many years, Robert owned and operated Wolf’s TV and Appliance in Tecumseh. He attended Andrews University, Michigan State University and graduated from Adrian College in 1951. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church on the Ridge. In addition to loving his family he also had a passion for computers, his appliance business and vegetable gardening. He will be fiercely missed by his family. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2008, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Britton, with the Rev. Paul Pollatz officiating. Interment will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, ADRIAN, and from 10 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a contribution to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Building Fund, 9950 Ridge Highway, Britton, MI 49229.
