Benjamin E. was a farmer living in Northampton, Bucks Co., Pa. in 1860 with his wife, Mary, and 6 children. Also living with him was a farm hand named Thoams Stephans and a 20-year old female named Elizabeth H. Wilkins. My interest in this family is with Elizabeth who I guess was a servant.
She may be my great-gandmother for whom I have never been able to find anything about her parentage. Would any of you Worthington researchers out there possibly know anything at all about her? It's a stretch I know but I am desperate after years of searching.
She was born in Philadelphia and married Elias Hallowell at Summerfield Methodist Church in Philadelphia in 1865. In 1860, Elias was a miller living on a farm in Southampton which is right next to Northampton which is why I feel there's a possibility this may be my Elizabeth Wilkins.
Information of any kind will be greatly appreciated.
