According to my mother's research, Daniel Worthington and Elisabeth Loomis had a son named Elias b. 31 Oct. 1722 d. 23 Sept 1811, both in Colchester, Conn. It is odd as well that the first child of this union is shown as Elizabeth, b. 24 Jul 1721. Could her middle name have been Mary?
No other Mary shows up in this generation in our records.
Another puzzling fact is my documentation does not show the William that your's does. Everything else you have coincides with mine, right down to the uncertainty of the years in the dates. I do have four other children attributed to this couple, Telitha b. 25 Nov 1738, Abigail b. 10 Mar 1739/40, Almy b. 12 Apr 1741 and Mahitable b. 01 Jul 1742. I wish Mom had done a better job documenting her sources, but unfortunatley I have not discovered where she came by this information.
My line (Moseley) goes through Nicholas Worthington, William Worthington, Daniel Worthington, Elias Worthington, Joel Worthington, Elias Worthington, John Howe Worthington to Althea Candace Worthington who married Lester Herbert Holycross. They had three children, Lucy Candace Holycross b. 27 Sept 1896, Clifton Samuel Holycross b. 26 May 1898 and Wendell Herbert Holycross b. 14 Oct 1899. Lucy Candace Holycross married Paul Jennings Moseley on 11 Apr 1928 and had two children, both still living.

Do you have any information showing this line? Does it show up at all?

Thanks for looking,

Galen Moseley
