Co A 431st Signal Heavy Construction Battallion

My father, PFC Robert W. Moore, served in the 431st from 1943 to 1945 in the Rome arena, Po Valley, Naples Foggia and Southern France. He was injured Dec. 15, 1944 by an enemy anti-personnel mine along with Carl P. Sommer and James W. Rice and awarded the Purple Heart. Dad died in 1978, way before I became interested in the family history. If anyone has any information on the 431st I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
