Hello Dave!
I am so sorry that I haven't informed you that I did have some success in finding out what Company C of the 103rd Engineer Combat Battalion was involved in during the Battle of St.Vith. After contacting the NARA by e-mail, I received a response by regular mail with a letter stating that they had located files for that unit, but, that there aren't separate files for Company C. They did send copies of the December 1944 After Action Report for the battalion, and I was able to locate many entries pertaining to Company C during the period December 1 through the 23rd 1944. I am now going to request an order form so that I can obtain more copies of files for the time period after the Battle of the Bulge was over. The current fee is $.75 a page, which is very reasonable. I want to thank you for helping me with this!
