I would like to thank all of you for your information. My friend lives in Bliesbruck. Shortly after the town was taken there were official US Army photographers that came into the town and recorded the damage. He is trying to locate those pictures. I think he now has enough information to go to the National Archives. If any of you are aware of another potential source for photographs of the town right after the liberation please let me know.
