Hello, No expert and no relation. He was shown to be from Howell County in Missouri (See Below **** line). However, that doesn't necessarily mean where he lived at the time....just where he enlisted or was drafted from. Same for the city. Has your friend written for his IDPF? That should provide some information about his family which could help in the search. He MAY have been born in 1921. See information below. His original Army Serial Number MAY have been 20730014 and it changed when he became an officer (Service # O-740298). If you find out more information, please post it or send it directly to me and I'll see what I can find.
