The Soviet Army had to have been huge. It lost 5 million or so just as POWs. About 11 million military dead. I think the Soviet Army had to have had about 20-30 million men. A list of all their officers would fill a couple of very big telephone books. And it would all be eritten in the Cyrillic alphabet.
