19th General Hospital D-Day 1944

Can any of my friends in the Forum provide any information on the 19th Gen. Hosp.?

I know it was in 1st Army, landed on Omaha Beach, and set up shop at Nancy, France, once ashore.

So far, I can only confirm that it was there (a single reference)

Our late doctor, John W. Garnet,Jr., Surgeon, was a Major in this unit.

Any/all information will be deeply appreciated.

Louie F. Turner.
