Andrea, thanks so answering so quickly. He full name was Earl Clifford Mann
Born 28 Feb 1924 in Garden, Wise Co., Virginia
Some time later after his birth may have moved to West Virginia. I don't know if he enlisted in Virginia or West Virginia.
Have been told he was a private 1st class, and spent most of the time in Germany.
There were 5 brothers and 3 were in WWII. The other 2 were in service later. All have passed away.
