Sent you a little Vet's Day message last nite. There are not many of us "Ancient Ones" left. Had an updated roster, recently, of known survivors of one of my old Sqs., the 13th,. There were 49 on the list. When you consider it went overseas in Jan. '42 with approx 200 members, and figuring 44 months of combat with all the replacements, there were probably close to 1,000 members during the war. The ranks are getting thin: won't be long and there will be no more eyewitnesses to the greatest armed conflict in the history of mankind.
