All I have is his partial enlistment record and would like to know what branch, unit, theater, etc., he was in:
Army Serial Number 34799528; Residence in Polk County, Florida; Enlisted at CP Blanding Florida (Camp Blanding Induction Center, Starke, Florida) on December 28, 1943 as a Private; Native of Alabama; Born in 1906; Education Grammar School; Civilian Occupation Semiskilled chauffeurs and drivers, bus, taxi, truck, and tractor; Married; Box Number 0850; Film Reel Number 3.272.
I know I could send off for it at NARA, but I'm trying to find this info quickly to help out a friend.
