I am looking for a WWII service record for Bernard E Bay
born 1928 in Muskingum County Ohio.
He enlisted in the US ARMY Infantry on August 15th 1941 at Fort Hayes Columbus, Ohio to the Hawaiian Department.
Putting him in Hawaii probably durring the attack of Pearl Harbor. I do know that the 24th Infantry Division was in Oahu Hawaii durring the attack and saw much action durring WWII. I'm not sure what Infantry division he was in, but the 24th would be a good place to look. I have been looking and looking mostly on google searches and have only found his enlistment record:
