Hi Linda,
Hoping you might be able to help a bit. I am researching JAKEL/YAKEL (and similar surnames) here in NY. However, I came across a Stephen and Mary YEAKEL in the Philadelphia, PA 1880 census. I have been looking for a great uncle and his wife with the same names - the ages, according to the census, do not match my relatives exactly (but they are often wrong).
In any case, I was wondering if you have researched this particular Stephen YEAKEL, and if so, is he related to the SCHWENKENFELDER line, or another? Do you know anything about this particular family?
