have found a few brief extracts of the poet on the net. Have not looked at most lines of Yardleys?Eardleys in the area, plus most of Horton and Biddulph registers are not on IGI, as some of CHEADLE also. Your William appears to be early son of John and Ursula Pilsbury; John died young as did many offspring. Although baptised at Rushton, his parents seem to be Solomon and Sarah from Biddulph, of a line from the younger brother of USA Quaker William Yardley (1632 to 1693). The two Solomons are normally recorded as Eardleys in documents, and the John might be another not yet picked up from records.
