I would like to hear from ancestors of Joseph W. YARDLEY, b. 20 Mar 1874, and his wife: Mabel (Bannon/BANNAN) Yardley. They had two sons: Vinton (1902-1994) and Arthur D. (1905-1999). Arthur's wife was Alma JACCARD (1909-1996). I rescued a box of photos of the Yardley and Jaccard families and old letters written to Mrs. J.W. (Mabel) Yardley by her father. Arthur and Alma had no children; therefore, their cherished family photos ended up in an antique shop. I've held onto them for about ten years. Alma Yardley was a pianist and music educator. Alma and Arthur Yardley donated over $2 million to establish an endowment for music, dance and theater performances at the Cultural Education Center at Johnson Community College in Johnson County, KS. Other names mentioned in old letters: Edith/Edie, Alice, Donald, Doris, Lizzie, Fred, Marjorie. I believe Alice and Edith are sisters of Mabel (Bannan) Yardley. My nieces took piano lessons from Alma Yardley.
