It is my understanding from Sargent writings wherein he quotes the Richard York Will that Samuel is in deed mentioned.

William M. Sargent, ESQ., THE YORK FAMILY; 1600 - 1870; A reprint from MAINE HISTORICAL AND GENEALOGICAL RECORDER, 1885; NEHGS Library item #CS 71 Y54 1885;

"Also I do leave and bequeath to my son Samuel Yorke five punds alsoe I doe leave & bequeath to my daughter Rachele Halle five pounds & alsoe I doe leave & bequeath to my son Benjamin Yorke that tract of land weh I hold by Towne Grant scituate lying & being near ye second fall of Lampill River adjoining unto yt which was lately Jno"

If you are saying that this is not true, and that Sargent misquoted the will then I am dismayed.
