Thank you for that information re John York! It seems to fit and the dates are correct...I will email you separately once I gather my notes because I have some information (as well as a few questions) for you as well. Re the marriage of Jesse Holbrook and Lucy Pennell (I think the marriage record is either misspelled or transcribed incorrectly) - I have gathered the following:

Publication: from vital records books
Text: Jesse Holbrook and Lucy Pannel* of Brunswick, intention 22 Sep 1791
3. Repository:
Name: Maine Historical Society Library
Portland, ME 04101

*Most of the families in the area were PENNELL, not PANNEL)

The Jesse Holbrook marriage to Ruth Dyer information seems to fit too. It has led me down a path of the Holbrook line that was missing. I will email you regarding that too.
