hello ella, it looks like you may not be able to help on john yorks burial place or his wives either.it has been a dead end so far.maybe someone out there knows.john york is my great,great grandfather.i have i have information on all of his children.some limited,some a good amount.i have several nice pictures of william jett york and his children.one from 1899.some of his wife elizebeth harrell york as well.i have several copies of many york marriage licenses,land deed conveyances and other various information.i also went to asheboro n.c. and copied all the information i could find in randolph,,county n.c..i do have copies of john yorks land deed conveyances,some court records,pictures of where his farm was at and a copy of elizebeth york who was john yorks daughter with her husband from the 1800's.i have publised four books on the york family history with numerous pictures in them but i only have number two availoable at present if you are interested.i have to much information to continue by e mail so maybe we can set up a meeting or exchange by mail.i would like all of your information you have as well.let me know and we can take it from there.have a really great day. timothy octavian york
