I have a confirmed relative in a John William York born ca1798 in Laurens Co, SC and died in 1837 in Amory, Monroe Co, MS. He would be my GGGG Granfather by way of John Harmon York (born 23 Nov 1819 [Bedford Co, TN] - died 14 Apr 1895 [Nauvoo, Winston Co, AL]). However, I have little or no information on John William and his parents. I am trying to trace my York line back to England. If anyone has any information that would help, please let me know.
