Hi Richard....It sure sounds like the correct family... the town is where my Comphort Goings lived so that would be where he met her ! I have Hannah York, being born 10-5-1828 in ME, marrying a Mr. Brooks and dying 24-11-64. She must have died in ME because Comphort & Elizabeth had 5 children born in Thorndike, ME by 1844/5. George, born 5-8-1830, ME, came with his mother and step-siblings to New London, NH where he lived and died in Newbury, NH 20-10-1864 and is buried in the family plot in New London's Main St. Cemetery. If this information on the children fits with yours, then I would love to have John Starbird and his wife's families as far back as you can go !! I am truly excited because I have looked for my Yorks for many years !! Do I go to your web site to find the information ? And thanks SO much ! Jean Kimball
