I would like to try to research my fathers family, but have no idea where to start since York is a very common name, it appears. I know my grandfather, Thomas Eugene York was born in Waynesboro, TN 8-10-1900. He married Lillian Kelly. He is the son of Jim York and Mandy Mae (or Anne) McLain. Jim is the son of John. My grandfather had these siblings : Bill, Jess, Earle. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate any advice or help you can give. say5@earthlink.net
